Cashier or Stocking Position

For an employment opportunity with KenJo Markets you can submit an application at any of our 40 locations in East Tennessee. Management Position

Training & Development at KenJo

New Team Members

Once becoming a new member of our team, you will receive hands on training from the management personnel in your store. You will also be attending an all day Orientation & Training Session at our training center in Maryville, Tennessee. At this session you will meet the upper level management of the company; including owners, supervisors, and trainers. You will learn about the company's history and employment policies, and how to deliver outstanding customer service. Extensive training on the policies and procedures governing the sale of alcoholic beverages and tobacco is also included in this training session.

Management Training

If you aspire to advance into a management position, then KenJo Markets is the place for you. We offer a management training program that can help you develop the necessary skills to become a successful manager. This program lasts approximately three months and consists of both in store and classroom training. In the program, you will learn communication skills pertaining to interviewing, hiring, coaching for improvement, and progressive counseling of employees. You will also learn tips for merchandising, security, inventory control, and completing daily reports.

REGULAR VACATION POLICY

After one year of employment you will be eligible for one week of paid vacation time. At the end of the third full calendar year of continuous service, you will receive an additional week of vacation time for a total of two weeks of paid vacation time.

INCENTIVE PROGRAMS

As a team member of KenJo Markets you will eligible to participate in numerous incentive programs designed to help you earn extra cash. These programs range from individual compensation for outstanding performance on mystery shops to a company wide team oriented contest that compensates winners on both a monthly and yearly basis.

401 K PROGRAM

KenJo Markets offers an outstanding 401 K plan to help you save for retirement. The company currently matches your contributions dollar for dollar, up to 6% of your pay.

PERFORMANCE REVIEWS

Your manager will conduct periodic performance reviews in order to communicate his/her assessment of your performance and what is expected of you in order to get pay raises in the future.
